Mpamba Solutions provided a team of project managers, business analysts, trainers, and developers that focused on the management, analysis, design, development, and implementation of the Action Request for Service solutions with the SAPS 10111 operational environment, integrated into the various other applications that are currently in operation within the SAPS from 2007 to 2015.
This project required a detailed understanding of the different SAPS business unit processes, systems, user training, policies, and procedures.
ARS System Overview
The ARS System that was developed, enabled the SAPS users to request for first-line support, classify, log, root, user satisfaction, and close of all vehicle tracking related calls for the SAPS environment.
The ARS system consisted of two different processes:
- The logging, routing and closing of request or problems for the installation of the Ctrack software in SAPS.
- The management, development, logging, routing and closing of request or problems for the Ctrack system, and the installation, removal, and maintenance of Ctrack vehicle tracking equipment in SAPS vehicles.
This project also enabled the management of SAPS and the Technical Command and Control Centre (TCCC) to manage the operational challenges regarding the installation and maintenance of equipment.
